Royals should Buy Zack Greinke

In 2009, Zack Greinke won the Cy Young award with the Royals. Since then we traded him to the Brewers where he did very well. This year Zack Greinke will become a free agent; the Royals need some good pitching and Zack Greinke looks like he could turn out to be a Royals great like Billy Butler!

2013 Really is looking like a great season ahead for the Royals with all the young stars showing power; for example, Mike Moustakas hit 20 homers in his second season, also Billy Butler at age 26 has had an amazing year here for the Royals hitting .313 with 29 homers and 107 RBIs.

GO ROYALS!!!

Help Pajet, We Are In Trouble!

Somehow the Royals have managed to get into last place in the league tied with Minnesota.  That is not what we were hoping for.  While it definitely has been too hot for baseball, the other teams are still playing.  We need to find something to get our team going...fast and soon.

I spoke with Pajet Monet about what is happening.  She still is sitting on a 13 and 0 record for all of the games she has attended in the stadium, but the last bunch of games she has not been getting out.  A bunch of us went over and explained that "THIS IS BASEBALL".  If it is about the team winning, you get no time outs!  She promised to be at the game with the Indians on Tuesday.  If you see her in her characteristic white outfit with white boots, tell her we need her at all of the games - for at least as long as they keep winning with her there.  I figure that if enough of us put pressure on her, she will have no choice but come out to support the team.

I think that she has something going on with Butler.  Either they have some secret code that they message back and forth each time he goes up to bat, or maybe she is just working up some Pajet Monet magic to help him hit his best.  If you can figure out what they are up to, email me.  I would like to know what is going on.
My email is wizziebrownsports@gmail.com.

I hope her magic works again on Tuesday.  If it does, maybe we should hand out white boots for all of the ladies in the stands.  Nothing is too much to get solid in the winning column.  For the heck of it, if you have white boots, and you are a lady, wear them to the game on Tuesday.  It cannot hurt, and who knows, maybe  it will help?

Come on guys, we would not want to break the perfect record for the lovely little lady!  Let's win it big...

More Skin in the Game -- What a Season

So it is after the All Star break and the Royals are down 17 1/2. Not good. Unless this team can come up with something really fast, we are in trouble.

It sounds like the fans are still standing behind their team. In her latest blog Pajet Monet promises that the ladies in the stands will wear something a bit more exciting each time we gain one game in the standings. That will give a lot of us double to cheer about. Come on guys. Now we are desparate.

Check out the Pajet All Star pictures on her blog.   She is now 13 for 13 Royals wins for games she attends.  We need to find a way to get her and others like her to more games.  http://pajetmonet.blogspot.com/

Good luck team -- this IS our time!

"Good Luck Lady" Takes On Brewers

KC Good Luck Lady - Pajet Monet
For those of us keeping score, Thursday, June 14th is an important day.  According to the superstitious, the Brewers will be up against more than the already excellent pitching and batting in Kansas City.  This time they will also go head to head with the so far unbroken magic of Pajet Monet.  For the past 10 games she has attended, if Monet is in the house, the blue team always wins.
Thursday will be the 11th game the charmed Monet has attended at the stadium.  Her last game ended and seemed to help turn around the long spring slump earlier this year when, no matter what they would do, it seemed like the Royals could not buy a win.  Her last appearance was on May 8 when the Royals struggled against Boston.  Late in the game, the Royals came from behind to win on the 3 run home run from Billy Butler.
Those of us at the game watched but could not hear what Pajet Monet dressed in White boots and gown said to Butler as he walked up to the plate.  All this reporter can say is that she was standing right behind home plate at the net, and as he approached she said something that caused Billy to look over and smile.  I wish I knew what she said, but I doubt he will ever tell.  The rest is history, and of course, Monet says her magic played some roll in the victory.  “I really believe in our team”, she was heard to say, “and they come through every time”.  Maybe we all need to have a little more faith, but for now, hooray for Kansas City and this fine ball club, and hooray for “good luck lady – Pajet Monet.
Like I said before, we can look forward to a great game tomorrow against the Brewers.  Monet says she will be cheering in the front row right behind the batter’s box.  Look for her in the traditional white boots and blond hair.  We will be more than glad to take another win, and that will move her stats of wins at attended games up to 11 out of 11.  Good Luck!

Maybe There is Something to the Charm of Monet

She said that she would bring the team good luck, and it looks like maybe she did.  The Royals took on Boston in their second game of the series, and though things looked shaky to almost the end, Billy Butler came through with a three run homer putting the Royals back on top, and with the excellent pitching in the 9th, the Royals were able to hang on to the victory.

Now, of course, Pajet Monet is claiming it was all her fault.  Every game she has attended over the past three seasons, now up to ten, the Royals have won.  Without a doubt, this time she promised victory before the game and it appears that she delivered.

Most fans do not care what magic they use, they just want the Royals to win.  There is no doubt that Ms. Monet was in attendance.  She appeared as big as life right on the front row behind the batter, and visible to TV audiences with every pitch.  Apparently her reputation is beginning to build in the ranks of desperate Royal's fans.  As she emerged from the depths of the stadium to take her place in the bleachers, cheers rang out from the crowd as though Marilyn Monroe herself had made her entrance.  "Pajet, Pajet!"  The scene was more surprising after the game as she left the stadium.  Her growing fan club lined her exit wanting to shake hands as though some of the "good luck" charm might wear off.

What ever the reason, it is good to see the Royals winning games -- what a streak!

One Royals executive, when asked about Ms. Monet said if she keeps this up, they are going to provide a permanent seat for her at every game.  If that would get the job of winning done, the fans would be all in favor.

Go Royals!

KC Royals Magic Season Spurred on by Charm of Monet

The Kansas City Royals, still looking to make 2012 a magic season, have recently started showing signs of life with wins over the Tigers and the Yankees.  The opening home town win over the Yankees last Thursday gave Royals fans their long awaited home game celebration.  Is this the beginning of something big?

Although the Royals bench is young, they have a lot of exceptional talent.  Even so, until last week they have been struggling through one of the biggest slumps in baseball this season.  For a while it seemed like they could not find a win no matter what they tried.  Now things are beginning to make a turnaround.  Could it be that one of the secrets in Kansas City is magic?

Local Kansas City personality, Pajet Monet, reports that every time she attends a Kansas City Royals baseball game, they have been victorious.  Could this be like the Curse of the Bambino, but in reverse?   Boston sold the “Babe” to the Yankees in 1920.  Some superstitious fans say that is the reason the Red Sox were not able to win another World Series for 86 years.  Maybe the secret magic ingredient needed in KC to help pull the team to victory is the Charm of Monet.

Anyone having had the opportunity of personally meeting Pajet Monet has been charmed by her beauty and eloquence.  Who knows?  Maybe she is the Good Luck Charm the Royals have been looking for?  If that is what it takes for Kansas City to come out on top this season, then I say let’s have Pajet Monet sitting front seat at every game.

The power of the Monet Magic will be put on the line again on Tuesday.  Royals fan, Dr. Chuck Leffler, has arranged for Pajet Monet to attend Tuesday night’s contest against Boston.  Look for her right behind home plate.  Here’s hoping that Monet’s blond hair and lovely appearance will once again charm the Royals to another victory.  Another win will make her a perfect 10 out of 10.  If this keeps up, we may all become superstitious.
